Engaging people through music and songwriting is Jack Thweatt’s goal in life. Whether performing songs about his life or leading worship for his church, Jack loves the opportunity to share music and it’s gifts with people from all walks of life and in all settings. He has always found encouragement in the lyrics of other writers and hopes that, as he writes about his own life, listeners will be encouraged by his stories of love, hope, and where he finds peace. With the release of his debut record “You Take Me Back”, Jack aims to share all aspects of his journey. From searching for love in “I’m Not Ready” to recognizing that the peace he has can only be found in “Grace”, Jack draws you deeper into the beauty of life through catchy melodies and honest lyrics.
Aspen, a singer/songwriter currently based in Waco, Texas, has been writing music for the past several years. With influences like Noah Gundersen, David Ramirez, and Damien Rice, she writes songs that tell stories, seeking constantly to connect with the souls of other people through poignant and honest lyrics. Her first EP, called “Paint the Roots”, is scheduled to be released in 2016.
Travis Warren is a junior at Baylor University and writes music in the hopes of connecting people to God. Whether he is playing original songs for friends, or leading worship at his church, he loves getting to see the way that music can cut straight to the heart and bring with it peace, encouragement, inspiration, and comfort. He believes that music, when combined with honest and encouraging lyrics, can touch the depths of people’s hearts and change lives. His desire is that his music, as well as his whole life, would be fun, transparent, honest, and saturated with grace.
